Field Trip Guidelines:
We are pleased that you and your students are going to visit
our Mission during the coming year. The Gift Shop Staff has
established the following guidelines that need to be adhered
to by all, and shared with fellow visiting teachers.
-
BEFORE
ANY STUDENT GROUPS WILL BE ALLOWED TO TOUR THE MISSION,
it is required that you or someone you have appointed, reports
to the Gift Shop to check in. You will be asked for your confirmation
number. This is also the appropriate time to make your donation.
-
STUDENTS
MAY NOT BRING BACKPACKS, PENCILS, DRINKS, OR FOOD
beyond the Gift Shop entrance. This excludes teachers and
chaperones.
-
STUDENTS
MUST BE WITH THEIR CHAPERONES AT ALL TIMES.
-
SHOPPING
MAY BE DONE AFTER you have completed the self-guided
tour of the museum, church, chapel and grounds.
-
THE
MISSION IS A PLACE OF WORSHIP and a functioning parish
church. It may happen that the church is closed because of
a funeral or other services. Please be patient, we will get
you started on your tour as soon as possible.
-
THE
RESTROOMS ARE LOCATED AT THE TEACHING CENTER in the
parking lot behind the Mission.
-
PLEASE
SHARE THIS INFORMATION WITH YOUR CHAPERONES.
Your
admission and purchases made in the Gift Shop are very important
to the Mission. We do not receive any financial aid from any state
or federal funds. We rely solely on the generosity of our visitors
for the upkeep and restoration of this historic treasure.
THE
ADMISSION IS $25.00 PER CLASS, AND MAY BE MAILED IN PRIOR
TO THE VISIT. WE REQUIRE THAT ONLY ONE PAYMENT BE MADE FOR ALL
OF THE CLASSES (BY CHECK, CASH, OR CREDIT CARD).
Thank you
for your cooperation. We do hope that your visit to the Mission
will be a wonderful learning experience for your students.
